Cooking Directions

  • Soak the Malony Noodles in hot water or 5 minutes or boil it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the water in a pot and season by soaking the kombu for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Cut the Chinese cabbage, shungiku, and tofu into easy to eat pieces.
  • Put the broth on low heat and take out the kombu just before boiling.
  • Add the Malony Noodles, vegetables and beef into the pot and cook them to your liking. Enjoy with ponzu sauce, sesame sauce, or your favorite garnish.

  • 1.8oz Malony Noodles
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 ½ in. kombu (dried kelp)
  • ½ leek, sliced diagonally
  • ⅛ Chinese cabbage
  • ¼ shungiku (Chrysanthemum greens)
  • ½ pkg. House Foods Tofu Soft
  • 2 shiitake mushrooms, stems removed
  • ½ enoki mushroom, roots removed and broken into small bunches
  • ⅓ carrot sliced thin
  • 7oz thinly sliced beef

For the sauce and garnish:

  • ponzu sauce (citrus soy sauce)
  • sesame sauce
  • scallion (thinly sliced)
  • grated radish
  • sudachi citrus
